Details, along with a teaser promotional video, have been released for the upcoming anime adaptation of Osama Ranking.
Based on the ongoing manga by Sosuke Toka, Osama Ranking tells the story of Bojji, a deaf and powerless prince who can’t even properly wield a child’s sword. He dreams of becoming the greatest king in the world, but he is surrounded by people who label him “a useless prince.” That is until he meets his first friend, Kage (shadow). Cast to play the role of Bojji is Minami Hinata. And Kage, a ShadowClan survivor, will be played by Ayumu Murase.
The key creative team consists of Yosuke Hatta (direction), Taku Kishimoto (series composition), Atsuko Nozaki (character design and animation supervision), Arifumi Imai (assistant director), and Mayuko (music composition).
Osama Ranking will premiere on Fuji TV’s noitaminA time slot in October 2021.
