I’m back from visiting my family and resuming my usual weekly art posts this week! Thank you for your understanding while I took a short break from being online.
Unfortunately, there are no interruptions from current events! It’s a tough balancing act keeping up with the world’s news and just getting through the week.
That’s the sentiment in the short comic strip I drew yesterday. I believe that almost everyone is doing the best they can and that, collectively, we can also do better. We hope we do what we can, while we can.
In my little corner of the world, I am grateful for the time I was able to spend with my family. Here’s a previous illustration of my brother and his pets in a moment of peace during my visit, taken from memory.

I miss my family and it’s also good to get back to work.
More illustrations and updates to come!
Thank you, as always, for reading and being here.

To new subscribers, thank you for joining! This is where I share a new comic strip every week, while working on new projects and my longer graphic novel. You can also find my entire cartoon archive here, from when I started teaching myself to draw comics 15 years ago. Against all practical odds, I still haven’t given up on the dream.
