Kaido is the one who had given Alber the name “King”. The Selenian was taught about war and chaos. Using what he learned, he became a fierce pirate of the New World. However, despite his experiences with the cast, King is simply countered by the elegant power of The Phoenix.
Lunar flames would be useless
Frame is fire resistant. In some cases, it can extinguish or mitigate the fire. He has survived the fires of emperors and the magma of a navy admiral. Both possess power, much greater than King’s.
King’s signature abilities would be useless against Marco. No flame from his lunar abilities would pose a genuine threat. King’s other violence abilities would also be almost useless. His swordsmanship and martial prowess are not enough to defeat Marco. Kings Haki is not powerful enough to nullify the Phoenix’s regeneration.
Marco can hurt King
Marco’s experience and life story should not be underestimated. Thanks to Whitebeard, Marco is familiar with the Selenites. Because of that, King was unable to rely on his lunar defense in their clash. Marco was able to draw blood only moments into their fight. A marked difference from Roronoa Zoro.
Marco the phoenix wins
King couldn’t hurt Marco. In comparison, Marco has shown that his attacks are a threat to King. He is also aware of lunar features. Marco has fought a war with Marineford, fought for a place among the Yonko, and rescued the Worst Generation in the Onigashima fortress.
