Impressions:
A post-ad break recap feels fresh, especially in this age of streaming. Randomly out of nowhere, thirty seconds recap of the episode so far. And it does nothing to save this horrible filler episode. It was expected, but it’s still disappointing. Not even an attempt to launch a future season where the plot is actually returned to. Just recaps and flashbacks, which conveniently ignored the main story points, oddly enough.
Worse yet, this may be what they consider the main plot, the strange adoration she has for a guy she shouldn’t be in a relationship with at all, for multiple reasons. They still could have at least gone the full comedic route, with him being a sarcastic little jerk to her in both forms, but no. Falling in love and this horrible couple is the point. With a lot of summary and flashbacks on top.
