This arc definitely needs an entire episode to recap the last few episodes.

In theory, it’s weird to have a fanservice beach episode, but the only costume change in them is when a third character shows up wearing a visor. Don’t we even make swimsuits? Just a few minutes on the beach and a barbecue? And then, you guessed it, the pursuit of summaries and reviews is more summaries and reviews. We’re stuck in Arya’s horrific backstory for longer than the entire cult arc, and involves twice as many people, not to mention attempted stabbings and brainwashing. And no damn annoying magic dolls. The pacing of the second half of this show is horrible.
Plus, Alia’s ending makes no sense and goes against Spica’s whole deal. Hehe, don’t care what others think. That’s loser talk. Do what you want. Ignore the people yelling about it, everyone’s expectations for me to be the greatest thing ever is my own motivation. Both start out as clichés, but Alia has never been a character burdened with huge expectations. They pop up in flashbacks for an episode or two and you might not know it, but they’re gone again. Nor do people burst into tears at the epiphany of being knocked down. Show some real emotion. frustration. anger. Guide her to vent her emotions instead of apologizing through tears.
This of course means we’ll end up with another filler episode. yeah.
