It’s time for another giveaway here at Anime News Network, and today we’ve got something from our friends at Nitro Plus and NetEase Games. We’ve got the game code for their new version of Rusty Rabbit!
This side-scrolling action-adventure game stars Stump, a reckless, middle-aged rabbit obsessed with collecting trash and repairing machines. In the world left behind by humans, with the arrival of a new ice age, rabbits now rule the earth. Rabbits known as “Rusty Diggers” are exploring and excavating the vast ruins left by humans. Stamp was one of these rust diggers, joining a team of excavations called “BB” who were tasked with exploring the ruins of Chimney Hill.
With concept planning by Gen Urobuchi from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Psycho, and Fate/Zero, it’s possible that Rusty Rabbit’s fuzzy appearance might be hiding some dark secrets, considering Gen Urobuchi’s past work. Urobuchi’s fans call him “The Butcher” because of his penchant for putting characters (and audiences) through emotional torture. Could Stump face a similar fate?
