Just before taking the stage, ONE OR EIGHT sat down with the media to chat about their experiences on tour and their ambitions. In addition to “365,” they shared that “TOKYO DRIFT” is the song that they feel strongly represents them right now due to its acceleration and speed. They also lightly teased and hoped for future collaboration with Filipino boy groups SB19 and VXON. The band continued to talk about their ongoing world tour and the challenges they have faced since their debut, and that these experiences have given them the opportunity to grow as artists. It is thanks to the support of fans that they can develop the mental strength for peak performance.

With the show approaching, the band closed their story with a special message for Filipino fans: “This is our first time in Manila and our first performance. [here]. We are very excited because it is the first time we are with our Filipino fans. Regarding our performances in the future, what we can promise our fans is that we want to make sure that they will be happy and will not regret coming to see ONE OR EIGHT. We are really very grateful for the fans’ attendance. [tonight] and I want everyone to enjoy the show.”

Later the sound check sessions were held with the VVIP guests. No cameras were allowed during the performance to ensure an immersive and unique experience for fans to enjoy.

The ONE OR EIGHT show began with “YANKEE SQUAT.” The pace picked up as the group demonstrated their electric vibe and enthusiasm with more of their iconic songs. Bursts of energy filled Samsung Hall as the crowd jumped and sang along to each performance. The group members also had some moments to connect with the audience, as well as solo performances that made the show quite a personal and memorable experience. The music was hot, the vocals were never lacking, the crowd was enthusiastic and the group was, without a doubt, incredible. At the end of the hour, with hearts full of gratitude, ONE OR EIGHT bowed before leaving the stage.

However, another highlight of the night came when the Manila audience applauded for an encore and the group returned to the stage. ONE OR EIGHT treated Filipino fans to Black Clover’s “Yellow Brick Road,” TOKYO DRIFT, and “YANKEE SQUAT,” constantly interacting with fans so much that it felt like a real party. It was a fitting conclusion to an otherwise satisfying and thought-provoking show.

All in all, the Manila performance offered fans a chance to celebrate the group’s music and connect with the artists. Some things even went beyond the performance itself. There were exclusive merchandise, collectible photo clubs, and fan activities that transformed the concert into a memorable experience and more.

For 1DERZ, the group’s fan base, the excitement surrounding a live concert goes beyond the songs; It’s about being present in the moment, sharing the passion for music, cheering on our favorite members, and being part of a community that grows beyond borders. ONE OR EIGHT’s show in Manila was truly an exciting night to remember.
