For people unfamiliar with Palookaville’s greatest hero, Flaming Carrot is one of the best absurdist superhero comedy series of all time. It tells the story of a man who reads 5,000 comics in one sitting to win a bet, suffers brain damage doing so, and then becomes Flaming Carrot. Burden was inspired by the Golden Age comic book craze and turned those stories up to eleven. Secondary characters from the series would be used in the 1999 film. mysterious men.

This comic book store tour has seen them travel across the country, accompanied by other comic creators at different stops. Burden will join them on the tour’s final date in Atlanta, Georgia.
Outside of the crossover miniseries, there is no information on new Flaming Carrot comics. Which is a shame because the world could use more of everyone’s favorite blue-collar, carrot-headed, finned superhero. However, Burden has a comic, dynamite girlcoming from Antártida Press that will be published early next year. Anyway, be sure to stop by the booth to meet this legendary indie comics creator during his appearance at the convention!
