Hello everyone! Are you ready for a hot July…? of pre-orders? Of course you are!
Now, it’s true that this month we’ve already outlined most of our pre-orders for next month, so for the most part this is more of a summary of recent announcements, but we’d hate for you to have missed any of the news! As Aerosmith once sang about their own anime collections, “I don’t want to miss a thing,” and we know those are sentiments you share, so read on for our final list of what’s up for pre-order in the coming weeks, including another brand new product announcement to help round out the month.
Y DA Y Season 2
First of all, starting tomorrow we have the second season of DAN DA DAN on its way to Blu-ray; You can find full details on our standard and collector’s edition releases (including an HMV exclusive version) in the blog post link below:
As we noted in that post, we’re once again releasing two Collector’s Edition variants for you to choose from; Both the collector’s and standard editions will be available for pre-order at 17:00 on Thursday, July 2, 2026before his July 27 release date. See you then!
SAKAMOTO DAYS Season 1
The hits keep coming, literally considering some of the characters in this series! Yes, that’s right, we’re bringing the recent Netflix sensation SAKAMOTO DAYS to Blu-ray, and you can read all the details about our season 1 release plans (Collector’s Edition, Standard Edition, and an HMV-exclusive standard variant) in the dedicated blog post below.
SAKAMOTO DAYS Season 1 Part 1 will be released on Monday, September 7and you can book for a week once Pre-orders open Thursday, July 9. at 5 pm in our store AllTheAnime.com.
Gurren Lagann the movie
I’m not going to lie, I’m personally very excited about this, as the classic GAINAX shows. Gurren Lagann gets a 4K UHD release as a two-film collector’s edition, plus a Blu-ray release, both of which feature an all-new Japanese-produced cast commentary track and newly created English dub. Pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition 4K UHD+ Blu-ray and Standard Edition Blu-ray versions are available at Thursday July 16 at 5 pm!
Now, let’s move on to a couple of products we haven’t (completely) announced…
NARUTO Shippuden – Collector’s Edition, set 2
If you’ve been following our NARUTO Shippuden release closely, you’ll know that the first Collector’s Edition box is now completely, beautifully filled with Parts 1 through 5. Well, that means it’s time to start another Collector’s box as we enter the realm of Collector’s Edition Set 2.
Jiraiya infiltrates the Hidden Rain Village and confronts his former student Pain, who has learned some deadly new tricks. Finally, Sasuke goes to rekindle an old grudge as he tracks his brother, Itachi, down! Armed with a lifetime of rage, Sasuke unleashes his full fury on his brother, Itachi! The grueling battle leaves a weakened Sasuke in the hands of Madara, from whom he learns the true and heartbreaking history of his brother and the Uchiha Clan’s past. With the flame of vengeance rekindled, he sets out to destroy the Hidden Leaf!
This second collector’s set is designed to contain parts 6 to 10 of the series; Part 6, of course, is included as part of the product. In addition to this case to keep your Shippuden collection safe and sound, this Collector’s Edition also includes a set of four art cards.

In terms of the Standard Edition Part 6 that is included in this set, and is also available independently, it is made up of an Amaray case containing four discs with episodes 126-150 with Japanese and English audio with English subtitles.
We will open pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition Set 2 and Standard Part 6 Standard Editions on Thursday July 23 in 5 p.m. UK time. Both items have a release date of August 17, 2026.
As a final gift to Naruto fans, let’s also take a quick look at what the standard editions of parts 7 through 10 will look like as they become available in the coming months.

Unlucky undead Part 2 Collector’s Edition
We already gave you a sneak peek at what Part 2 would look like when we launched our pre-orders for Part 1, but now that the first half is on track to ship (although we’ve had to delay Part 1 until August 14th just to make sure the disc build is complete), we’re closing out July by allowing you to complete your Undead Unluck collection.
Fuko and Andy successfully confronted Rip and his Under friends and were able to save the Negator Chikara from them. To fill the vacant eleventh spot on the Round Table, the two try to convince him to join Union. Regardless of their decision, the Union soon faces a new challenge, for they have been betrayed… and from within their own ranks! To discover the reasons behind the betrayal and prepare for the future, Andy and Fuko set out in search of Anno Un, whose manga seems to capture the past, present and future…
Of course, this Part 2 release will fit neatly inside the storage case with the purchase of the Part 1 Collector’s Edition to complete the set: a hardshell case containing an Amaray with the two Blu-ray discs comprising episodes 13-24 of the show, with English and Japanese audio with English subtitles.
To top things off, there’s a 20-page booklet filled with lots of character illustrations and designs, a timeline of the series, and an “UMA field guide.”

This closes out our month of July and of course we’ll be meeting again before you know it to talk about our August plans! We know that many of you are particularly waiting for the remaining parts of the original BLEACH – our work is underway to complete the series and we are currently tweaking and perfecting things to get everything approved and ready for release, so we will be sure to let you know as soon as everything is set and thank you for your patience!
