In early September, I performed at FAME 2026 in Joliet, IL! It was a good time chatting with creators and fans closest to my danger zone!
Like many library shows, it was a smaller event in tight quarters of the library. While the event took place on the first and second floors of the building, My and many other creators featured in their video interviews were at the front door introducing guests to this great event.
Other than that, it was a simple time selling my typical comic book, sticker, and tablecloth merchandise while doodling with my neighbors and chatting about fountain pens and the past few years of winter storms.
Overall, I had a great time without having to drive miles from home to a table at a convention and chat with fans. I would love to volunteer more at shows like these in the future to contribute more to the arts in general. Maybe you’ll see me on the other side of the table next year?
My next show is Windycon 52 in Rosemont, IL October 9-11! For all other shows, you can check my convention calendar to keep track of my upcoming appearances.
