The feature films Gundam Hathaway mobile suitand its sequel, Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Witchcraft of the Nymph Circewill screen at participating ODEON cinemas across the UK ONE DAY ONLY as a DOUBLE BILL event on Saturday 10 October 2026. Both films will screen in Japanese with English subtitles.
Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway is the animated feature film of 2021 and was added to Netflix shortly after its debut in Japan. Meanwhile, Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe is Hathaway’s second ever film and was released in 2026 in Japan before being added to Netflix in August of the same year. Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe was also previously announced for a UK theatrical release this fall at the MCM Comic Con in London, and this DOUBLE BILL event at ODEON may just see Anime Limited deliver on that promise of having the film on the big screen.
Synopsis: GUNDAM HATHAWAY MOBILE SUIT: The year is UC 0105, twelve years after Char’s Rebellion. The anti-government organization “Mafty”, led by someone named “Mafty Navue Erin”, has taken a stand against the corrupt leadership of the Earth Federation. As Mafty carries out terrorist attacks and assassinates government officials, he gains the support of the angry population.
Mafty’s leader is actually Hathaway Noa, the son of war hero Bright Noa. Inspired by the ideals of Amuro Ray and Char Aznable, Hathaway plans to follow in their footsteps and blaze a path through armed resistance. His destiny, however, changes drastically when he encounters Federation officer Kenneth Sleg and a mysterious young beauty named Gigi Andalucía.
GUNDAM HATHAWAY MOBILE SUIT The Wizardry of the Nymph Circe: Haunted by a past trauma, Hathaway finds himself drawn to a mysterious girl named Gigi Andalucia, whose strange powers awaken memories within him. Although he gets carried away by his cryptic words, he continues to prepare for MAFTY’s mission: the attack on the Adelaide Conference. Kenneth Sleg of the Earth Federation Forces prepares a defense operation for the Adelaide Conference and a plan to eliminate MAFTY and Handley Yoxon of the Criminal Police Organization approaches him with a secret proposal. While Hathaway and Kenneth pursue their respective goals, Gigi also sets off for Hong Kong to fulfill her own role.
