“Mezametara Saikyou Soubi to Uchuusenmochi Datta Node, Ikkodate Mezashite Youhei toshite Jiyuu ni Ikitai” announced additional cast, crew, theme song, first promotional video

The official website of the TV anime adaptation of “Dragon Man” Mezametara Saikyou Soubi to Uchuusenmochi Datta Node, Ikkodate Mezashite Youhei toshite Jiyuu ni Ikitai (Reborn as a cosmic mercenary: wake up and pilot the most powerful starship!) light novel unveiling On Tuesday, a pair of additional cast members, crew, key visuals (pictured), theme song and first promotional video were revealed. The animated series is scheduled to premiere on Tokyo MX at 9:30 pm on October 4, with subsequent airing on AT-X, BS11 and other stations.

Voice actor Kana Ueda (Fate/Eternal Night: Unlimited Swordsmanship) and Onishi Saori (Kawaii Daikaku Naishiki Mori-san) play the roles of Shoko and Mei respectively.

Japanese rock band FLOW (Naruto) is performing the opening theme song “UNSTOPPABLE”. Rock band ASTERISM (Fuguushoku “Kanteishi” ga Jitsu wa Saikyou Datta Opening song) is performing the ending song “MY WAY”. The opening theme is previewed in the first promotional video below.

Norihiko Nagahama (The Demon King’s strongest magician is a human data) at Studio A-CAT with Takamitsu Kouno (The magic of Wonder Club is special) handles series composition. Masami Sueoka (“Noumin Kanren no Skill bakka Agetetara Nazeka Tsuyoku Natta”.) is designing the character. Akikawa Hitoshi (Reincarnation Stara Slime Dattaken, 86) serves as the sound director. Kenta Higashioji (King of Heroes, my precious reincarnation: Soshite, the world’s strongest Mina Raigan♀) is making music.

Kadokawa began printing the series under its Kadokawa Books label in July of that year, with illustrations by Tetsuhiro Nabeshima (Inu and Hasami wa Tsukaiyou). Volume 17 is released on May 9.

Matsui Shunichi began serializing manga adaptations on the ComicWalker website (now KadoComi) in November 2019. Kadokawa published the 11th volume on March 23.

Seven Seas Entertainment obtained the English license for the light novel and manga in December 2020 and February 2021 respectively. The digital version of the 16th volume of the novel was released on August 20, and the physical version is scheduled to be released on September 22. The 10th volume of the manga was released on March 31, and the 11th volume is scheduled to be released on October 20.
