Ugh… while I don’t have many hurt feelings about the app situation, what alarms me is how it fits in with that rumor that implied all new Marvel comics after 2030 will be for the Webtoon site only, in the meantime Marvel will stop publishing monthly physical comics and simply outsource the physical publishing license to idw/image/dark horse.

They’re not going to poof. They are just transferring to this new application. The entire reading process they have with the Unlimited app will be put into the new one. Additionally, anyone who paid for the Unlimited app will receive a partial refund depending on when they paid.
Okay, that’s good! It’s a lovely resource and a great deal, and long live reading too! and enjoy the art of comics.

Okay, okay, as always, it’s not essential for the unlimited sub, but since they tend to disappear, what the heck?! I want this, I don’t really have any reason, I just like the strange palate change, anyway, is this coming from something? because it doesn’t look familiar to me.
On the most important note here, Unlimited Shutdown!? OMG, that’s actually a tragic milestone and really sad, people don’t want to read anymore, even if it’s on their computers? and it’s sad to think that a huge archive of comics over the years just disappears and disappears.
but I imagine it will simply move to the model of buying each issue digitally, maximizing profits, and moving on.
