- Hatsune Miku “Magical Mirai 2026” is an event that combines live 3DCG performances by Hatsune Miku and other virtual singers with an exhibition that allows visitors to experience the joy of creativity. A Blu-ray and DVD of the entire evening performance, which will take place in Tokyo on Sunday, August 30, will be released on February 3, 2027.
- This year marks the fourteenth edition of the event, which is held under the theme “Sonare del Lago.” It took place at Acto City Hamamatsu (Hamamatsu headquarters) from July 24 to 26, at INTEX Osaka (Osaka headquarters) from August 14 to 16, and at Makuhari Messe (Tokyo headquarters) from August 28 to 30. This was the first time the event was held in Hamamatsu.
- Both the standard and limited editions contain a complete recording of the night’s final show in Tokyo. The bonus disc included with the limited edition version contains songs that were not performed during the nighttime show, as well as a video titled “Focus on Singers,” which contains footage focused exclusively on the virtual singers. The packaging artwork features the main event image illustrated by Wata. The limited edition versions come in a deluxe case with a special translucent finish inspired by this year’s theme “Sonare of the Lake.”
