Warner Bros. has made some changes to the release date, unrelated to its pending marriage with Paramount.
DC Robins Origin Animated Film and Puppets dynamic duo will be moved from June 30, 2028 to September 22, 2028. The reasoning is that Warner Bros. distribution believes this will be a good back-to-school animated space for not only K-12 but also teens and college kids. The film has the potential to impact Spider-Verse crew.
Coincidentally, this changes dynamic duo far from Paramount’s big feature in the video game Obligations on June 30. There will be no Paramount movies on September 22, 2028.
Also advancing is the as-yet-untitled Gremlins movie, directed by Chris Columbus., which will move from November 19, 2027 to October 6, 2028 (Warners had good luck on that first weekend of October with Joker). The Gremlins movie did not compete with any Paramount film in its 2027 date, nor in its new weekend.

dynamic duo It marks the first joint project between DC Studios and the WBPA directed by Bill Damaschke.
The film 6th & Idaho scripted by Matthew Aldrich is being made by a new New Orleans animation studio called Swaybox and that studio’s husband and wife creators Arthur Mintz and Theresa Andersson. Mintz will direct this film, which follows the early days of Dick Grayson and Jason Todd, also known as the Robins.
InSneider recently announced the voice cast for dynamic duo: Mason Thames as Dick Grayson, Logan Kim as Jason Todd, Lee Pace as Red Hood One and Steve Buscemi as Red Hood Two.

The third Gremlins film has a current draft by Hannah Marks from a script by Columbus, Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein. Kristie Macosko Krieger and Holly Bario produce for Amblin Entertainment along with Columbus, Michael Barnathan and Mark Radcliffe of 26th Street Pictures. Steven Spielberg is the executive producer alongside Eleanor Columbus of Maiden Voyage. Joe Dante directed the first two. gremlins cinema.
