doctor who and childhood Star Noel Clark has been charged with a number of sex offenses following a Metropolitan Police investigation.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirmed on Wednesday that prosecutors had authorized the Metropolitan Police to lay charges against the 50-year-old actor, writer, producer and director.
Clark, of Kensington, west London, faces two counts of sexual assault, three counts of voyeurism and one count of exposure. The charges relate to five women and relate to crimes alleged to have occurred between 2007 and 2016. The actor has yet to comment publicly on the allegations, but previously denied any wrongdoing when the allegations first surfaced.
According to the Crown Prosecution Service, prosecutors reviewed the evidence file submitted by detectives and determined that there was sufficient evidence to support the case proceeding and that prosecution was in the public interest.
“Our prosecutors have worked hard to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to court and that it is in the public interest to do so,” CPS said in a statement.
The Metropolitan Police investigation began a year ago, and a man in his 40s at the time was first arrested in connection with the case on September 25, 2025. Following the investigation, detectives submitted evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service, which subsequently approved charges against Clark. He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on October 21.
Detective Superintendent Mike Cagney, who is overseeing the investigation, said the women involved in the allegations continued to receive support from specially trained officers.
“The women involved in these allegations continue to receive support from specially trained officers,” Cagney said. “We urge any victim of sexual assault to contact police. The information you provide will be treated with the utmost sensitivity and we have trained investigators to support you.”

He starred in the BBC drama from 2005 to 2010. It follows allegations that the actor inappropriately touched women or made sexual comments while filming the sci-fi drama.

The charges against Clark are merely accusations, and he has yet to respond publicly to the case. His appearance at Westminster Magistrates’ Court will be the next stage of the proceedings, which could see the actor face a serious jail sentence if he is ultimately found guilty.
