Disney+ and Netflix subscribers in the UK can now enjoy Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Iwhich was previously titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -Infinite Castle- when it is released in Cinemas, both in dubbed and subtitled formats. The film can also be streamed on Crunchyroll.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -Infinite Castle- Produced by ufotable and distributed in the UK by Aniplex, Crunchyroll and Sony Picture Releasing International, it was released in cinemas across the UK and Ireland in September 2025 and then re-released in cinemas in March 2026 with a new version of SCREENX. On July 28, 2026, the movie was added to the Crunchyroll platform and now Disney+ and Netflix subscribers can also enjoy this movie. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I is the first film in a trilogy of films that will bring the Demon Hunter: Kimetsu no Yaiba story to its conclusion, with the second and third films expected in 2027 and 2029.
Synopsis: Tanjiro Kamado: A boy who joined an organization dedicated to hunting demons called the Demon Slayer Corps after his younger sister Nezuko became a demon.
While strengthening and deepening his friendships and bonds with his fellow corps, Tanjiro has fought many demons with his comrades: Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. Along the way, his journey has seen him fight alongside the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira, including Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku aboard the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui within the Entertainment District, as well as Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji in Swordsmith Village.
While the members of the Demon Slayer Corps and Hashira participate in a group strength training program, the Hashira Training, in preparation for the upcoming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and Hashira race towards headquarters, but are plunged into a deep descent into a mysterious space at the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji.
The destination where Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer Corps fell is the demon stronghold: the Infinite Castle. And so, the battlefield is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.
All TV episodes of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba are currently available to stream on both Crunchyroll and Netflix in the UK, with the first season available on Blu-Ray from Anime Limited and subsequent arcs on Blu-Ray from Crunchyroll.
While it’s exciting news to see Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I on Disney+ and Netflix, it comes with a bit of disappointment (especially for those with 5.1 surround sound systems) as the English dubbed version of the film is only presented in stereo, while the Japanese version is available in 5.1 surround sound. Regardless Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I is now available on Crunchyroll, Disney+ and Netflix in the UK.
