Daemon X Machina Soundtrack Unboxing – Anime Instrumentality Blog

Sometimes, some video game soundtracks pique our interest, and Daemon X Machina falls into this category. Daemon X Machina is a mecha action game released on September 13, 2019 on Nintendo Switch. The reason we’re interested is that it features a design by Shoji Kawamori. You know, he’s worked on anime like the Macross series, Aquarion, and Escaflowne. Given Kawamori’s involvement, it’s no surprise that animation work was done by Satelight. Another notable staff member is producer Kenichiro Tsukuda, who previously worked on the Armored Core series.

While our focus is on the music, we appreciate the excellent CD releases here, and I’m curious to see what the soundtrack releases have to offer. The cover art depicts a mercenary and a mech unit called the Arsenal. Inside, you can get inside the mind of the game’s composer and his core staff: producer Kenichiro Tsukuda, director Ken Karube, and co-director Ken Awada. Unfortunately they are all written in Japanese so I couldn’t find a good translation.

So here’s our unboxing of the game’s soundtrack.

So that’s not bad! The game consists of 45 tracks spread over 3 discs. But the key lies in the musical personnel, who mostly work with Namco Bandai.

Needless to say, this is a pretty strong group of composers. With that in mind, I’d be willing to bet that the soundtrack for Daemon Anyway, I’ll have the review up in about a week or so so you can peruse my content real Think about this version.
