In one of the first major announcements for this year’s New York Comic Con, Crunchyroll has revealed its lineup. Fans can expect first looks at upcoming seasons and special screenings, as well as photos and experiences at their booth.
Look, when New York convention-goers tell you that there’s often more anime at NYCC than at Anime NYC, we’re not kidding. Only Crunchyroll is the host nine panels throughout the four days of the con, bringing together the cast and crew of favorites like The Apothecary’s Diaries and black cloverin addition to new titles such as Doomed to be a hero and black torch. This is an incredible amount of anime programming for NYCC (and it’s not even all of it!), but since I was only able to attend one panel at this year’s Anime NYC, I have to say I’m not complaining.
In addition to the panels, the Crunchyroll booth (#1653) will feature a black clover photoshoot, which promises fans will be able to “enhance their aura,” and a Witch hat workshop experience, where “the precise strokes of the pencil cast wonderful spells.” And, to celebrate the anniversary of Crunchyroll’s manga app, which launched at last year’s NYCC, its booth (#1643) will allow attendees to grab a tablet, relax, and check out the ever-growing manga catalog. (That sounds a lot like they have a lounge setup to me. Which is a great idea, if true.)
Crunchyroll’s full lineup of panels can be found below.
