The film will be released in Japan on November 6. The film had its world premiere at this year’s festival Fantasia International Film Festivalheld in Montreal from July 16 to August 2.
This film is a comprehensive film composed of three stories with different world views:
- “A(E) Lien”
- “Yoroshiku★Girl” (also known as “4649 Girl”, pronounced “Yoroshiku★Shōjo”, a pun on “Nice to meet you★Girl”, which in kanji literally means “Late Dew to Death★Girl.” The number 4649 can be read as “Yoroshiku” in Japanese.)
- “Nocturne: Nuit Grotesque” (“Nocturne: Kono Grotesque na Yoru ni”, literally “Nocturne: On This Grotesque Night”, romanized to “Nocturn: En Cette Nuit Grotesque” in the previous video.)
