Isekai No More is an interesting twist on the isekai genre. Instead of a super-competent protagonist, we follow a suicidal writer known only as a teacher, whose nihilism drives the humor and pathos of the story.

conspiracy: The teacher and his girlfriend Sa-chan attempt a double suicide, but are hit by a truck and summoned to another world. Summoned as heroes by the elf priestess Annette, their slavish refusal to embrace heroism sets the tone for the entire series.

A dragon knight who hates alien creatures. She attacks Sensei’s crew, and when he survives the cross, she discovers Sensei’s unique resilience, a moment that changes her perspective.
Yuriko
Although she hasn’t been given much emphasis in what we’ve seen so far, Yuriko may appear in later chapters or episodes, perhaps in Season 2 if she gets the green light.

What starts out as a darkly humorous parody of isekai tropes ends up taking on a poignant sense of strangeness and absurdity.
