Can Gaara retrieve Shukaku after the war?

Gaara was one of the most intimidating characters when he first appeared in the OG Naruto. He is cruel, evil, and powerful, and has a character that makes people want to stay away from him. What made Gaara so powerful at that stage was the one-tailed beast Shukaku.

However, later in Shippuden we see Akatsuki extract Shukaku from him. So the question is, will Gaara get Shukaku back later?

Gaara didn’t let Shukaku come back. When the one-tailed beast was extracted from his body, there is no evidence in the Naruto or Boruto series that he became a jinchūriki again. Shukaku, on the other hand, is as free as a tailed beast.

Did Gaara get Shukaku back?

Gaara is a jinchūriki of a tailed beast. And when Akatsuki was hunting down the tailed beasts one by one, they sent Deidara to capture Gaara.

After a fierce battle, he captured Gaara and took him to one of their hideouts. There, they used the Gedo statue to remove the tailed beast from his body. As we know, once the tailed beast is out, the jinchūriki dies. Gaara died then.

However, Mrs. Chiyo uses forbidden techniques to save him in exchange for her own life. Gaara was resurrected, but he was an ordinary ninja, not a jinchuriki.

During the Fourth Ninja War, we see Shukaku escaping from the Waidu statue. But soon after, Madara took it away along with the other tailed beasts inside the statue.

After the war, it was free again. This time, Shukaku is free forever.

However, so far, there was no sign or hint of him entering Gaara again.

As for Boruto, we see Urashiki telling Otsutsuki that there are only two Jinchuuriki left in Momoshiki. He calls it Naruto and Killer Bee. Well this also clearly shows Gaara didn’t get Shukaku back.

Why doesn’t Gaara get Shukaku back?

Well, there was no need for him to get Shukaku in the first place. Shukaku also didn’t have the bond to consent to being sealed within him again.

Although they developed a friendlier relationship over time, it was nowhere near the relationship and bond Naruto and Kurama had.

And with Shukaku’s bad character, who would want to capture him back? As for Shukaku, he is finally free and wants to travel the world as he pleases.

Has Gaara turned back into a Jinchūriki?

No, Gaara did not become a jinchūriki again after losing his one-tailed beast Shukaku. The jinchuriki usually dies after the tailed beast is taken out.

Gaara, however, was still alive and was truly resurrected thanks to Chiyo-sama. After that we don’t see anything about Gaara being Jinchuuriki again.

Are Gaara and Shukaku friends?

Yes, Gaara and Shukaku are friends. As we saw in Boruto, he contacted Shukaku again and again. Even Otsutsuki Urashiki wanted to capture Shukaku, so Gaara sent him to Naruto to guard the tailed beast. Shukaku agreed to the idea. So, yes, they are friends.

Who got Shukaku after Gaara?

After Gaara, no one got Shukaku again.. After the war, Shukaku, like many other tailed beasts, gained complete freedom.

Due to his unfriendly behavior and short temper, it’s unlikely that he would want to be sealed inside anyone again.

As for Gaara, although he had established a friendly relationship with Shukaku, he really had no good reason to become a jinchūriki again.

Is Gaara still strong after losing Shukaku?

Yes, Gaara is still crazy and strong after losing Shukaku. Gaara relied on his unusual sand techniques and mastery of different types of sand techniques to become a ninja who was good at both offense and defense.

We see him fighting Madara along with 4 other Kages, and later he assists Mr. Guye in his fight against Juubi Madara. He only gets stronger with age as time passes, gaining wisdom and experience.

in conclusion

Gaara is the jinchūriki of the one-tailed beast Shukaku. However, Akatsuki captures Shukaku and takes his body from him. Although Mrs. Chiyo exchanged Gaara’s life for Gaara’s life, this did not bring Shukaku back.

To this day, we have seen no evidence in the anime, manga, or data books that Gaara retrieved Shukaku. Instead, we see Urashiki mentioning that there are only two tailed beasts left in the world.
