Japanese anime/game composer Yasuharu Takanashi will visit London this October to perform music from several popular anime titles, including NARUTO Shippuden and fairy tail!
Yasuharu Takanashi is credited as a composer for a wide range of anime television series and film releases, including Pretty Cure, Hell Girl, Kengan Ashura, Zombie Land Saga, BORUTO and Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal. This year, he will take his international band Yasuharu Takanashi’s Far East Groove on a European tour titled The Battle for Glory. The event website presents the live show as “orchestral drama meets driving rock and the energy of a real live band,” with the original composer performing the beloved anime music live on stage.
Far East Groove originally formed in 2024 with the goal of uniting the worlds of anime soundtracks and heavy metal music. The London concert will take place at Dingwalls in Camden on October 2, 2026 (Friday) and will feature music from Takanashi’s heavy metal-influenced anime soundtrack career, including music written for NARUTO Shippuden and fairy tail. Having previously performed at the Rock Imperium Festival and toured Europe in 2025, this will be the first time they will play in the UK.
Tickets can be purchased online through AXS via the venue’s website. VIP tickets including a meet and greet, autograph and photo are also available.
