American Dad! will return to FOX on February 22 for season 20 after being canceled and moving to TBS more than a decade ago.
Previously, American Dad! aired its final episode on FOX on September 21, 2014. Since then, it has been on TBS, where it has resided for the past 11 years. During those 11 years, the American Dad! The writers have really ramped up the mischief and evil in those episodes. It will be strange and interesting to see now how much they allow in the show since it will go back to FOX and the censorship and that is very different there, again.
Last April, FOX gave the green light American Dad! for four more seasons on FOX’s Animation Domination, along with four more seasons for The Simpsons and bob’s burgers too (no news yet on when Bob’s current season will return; maybe I’ve heard rumors from March).

A week before, on February 15, The Simpsons will end its current season. The show is celebrating its 800th episode and will then air its season finale.
The Simpsons will air two consecutive episodes on February 15, starting with the 800th episode at 8 pm ET, and finally, its season finale at 8:30 pm ET.
