I am The Mighty Tharg, the all-powerful alien editor at the helm of this brain-sapping sci-fi anthology!
Welcome back to Thrill-central, Terrans, where I take it as a personal challenge to reconfigure your realities. I trust you have recovered from the Prog 2500 ghafflebette, and although we return to the usual thirty-two pages of this issue, the zarjazness does not diminish as we launch into the second installment of Dredd, Azimuth, Red Durham, Herne and Shuck and Ghost!
In case you missed it, Judge Dredd Megazine 496 also hit stores last week, and features the start of a new Dredd story by Geoffrey D. Wessel and Nick Roche along with the final chapters of Rogue Trooper, Mega-City 2099, Storm Warning and Lawless, in addition to the grand finale of the Treasure classic The angry planet by the droids Hebden and Belardinelli.
Add to that a chat with Rob Williams and Arthur Wyatt about The new futureBryan Talbot reveals the stories behind his latest projects, and Dave Gibbons and John Higgins reflect on Lightning Jaxontheir collaboration with Albion that will have a new edition in December, and it is another spectacular number, full of emotion.
